Print and Pattern with Leah Goren

Remember when I was getting all over-excited about patterns? I collected these…and then I made some myself. Well I am on a roll now…
So I was pretty happy when I chanced upon the portfolio of Brooklyn resident and expert printed textile pattern-maker, Leah Goren. Leah uses a combination of painting, block and screen printing to create her unique designs and then sews bags, scarves and other clothing out of the printed fabric which she then sells in her etsy shop. I adore these melancholy painty faces and the intricate monochrome mushroom print below.

Leah and her fella also have a great blog, A Future Present, that chronicles their lives in Brooklyn, foodie experiments, gardening and the creative spaces they inhabit.
