Known as “Your Larger Than Life Local” the story behind this pub is based on a local hero. “From the name the brand identity grew to emphasise the charisma and showmanship of the wrestling champ paired with cheeky references to the old drinking adage of ‘seeing pink elephants’.” The limited colour palette works really well on the graphic elements, keeping it simple but bright and the negative space used for the wrestler in the logo is fantastic. All in all, some sweet kiwi quirkiness behind a concept that’s brilliantly executed!
